Loreto is 700 miles south of the US border, you can drive on a safe 2 days driving, but it can be done in a day (14 hours of driving).

Also, you can fly on Alaska, Volaris, American Airlines, check their schedule.

When you arrive at the loreto airport and go out front. Board one of the yellow and white shuttle vans, tell them coco cabanas and you will be here in around 15 minutes. 

The coco's are located near the center of town. Just about any place is within walking distance or you can take a taxi around. If you want to rent a car for an excursion, we will find the best deal in town and have the car delivered and picked up after your return.

Yes, your vehicle and belongings are safe here; nothing has ever been taken in over 19 years of business.

We get our 19' boat in and out of the parking lot but you better walk down and check it out before you bring your boat in. A neighbor has boat parking at a reasonable rate that might be an easier in and out.

We are a 5-minute walk around the block north to the public beach where you can walk for miles. Around the block to the south (5 minutes) are the marina and malecon.

The coco's is probably the quietest place in the downtown area of loreto. We are located only 3 1/2 blocks from the town square, at the end of a non-through street, with no car traffic going by

If you have friends that live in loreto, fine. If you have friends that are staying at another hotel, they can visit but our pools and bbqs are only large enough to accommodate our guests.

Just about all our accommodations have full kitchens featuring a four-burner stove with an oven, large refrigerator, micro-oven, toaster, blender, pots, pans, and utensils.

Loreto water is safe. I brush my teeth, shower, and of course wash dishes without a worry. But for drinking and cooking, we supply purified water.

No smoking is allowed in the cabañas or casitas. You can smoke on the grounds as long as you consider the other guests and the direction of the wind.

We want everyone to have a great time at the coco's!!! But, some of our guests are getting up early for an excursion and 10 pm is time to cut the noise down. I'm sure you understand.

No, but there is an alarm clock in all the rooms.

There are great restaurants in loreto. Just ask your host and they will guide you to whatever meal you are craving.

We have wi-fi so bring your laptop. We do not have phones in the rooms. The office phone can be used in an emergency.

There are sea & land activities. World-class sport fishing, great scuba diving with certified guides. Some of the best snorkeling and island tours. There are guided trips to the mission of san javier. You will find also tasty restaurants at prices that any budget can afford. A golf course and tennis club 15-minute drive away. And much, much more!

We don't have a guest laundry service but there is a person on call that will wash, dry, and fold your laundry for a very reasonable rate.

I'm sorry; we no longer have bicycles for a loan. There are rental bikes available in town and we can direct you to them if you like.
